Install Sensors

Note: the information in this article applies only to the Enterprise system, which is a paid service. The features mentioned here are currently not available for non-enterprise users.

After you have created the details for your sensor(s), all that is left to do is install it. Installing involves pairing these details to one of your SimpleSENCE Leak Detectors and connecting that device to WiFi.

1. Open the SimpleSENCE Enterprise Mobile App (Download Mobile App)
2. Log in to your account using your email and password
3. Select the Area where you will be installing the new sensor
4. You can either choose from your pre-configured sensor details or configure a new set of sensor details directly in the app by pressing the plus button ()
5. Grab one of your unused or inactive SimpleSENCE devices
6. Follow the directions on the screen to pair to the sensor and connect it to WiFi.

Now the sensor should be ready to start detecting leaks and sending alerts. You can test its WiFi connection by holding your fingers across the metal strips for about 8-10 seconds, or until you hear the 80 decibel siren. After you hear the siren, check to make sure text and/or email alerts were received.

If you check the Enterprise Console, you will now see current battery level, WiFi strength, status, and other details for the sensor. The sensor will check in automatically every 24-36 hours to keep these values updated.
